In keeping with our core value of K'lal Yisrael, the Jewish Federation of Howard County continues as always to focus on our brothers and sisters in Israel. The Israel Committee creates programs and events that help educate the community about Israel; including a speaker series and Israeli holiday programs for Yom Ha'Atzmaut and Yom Hazikaron.

Schlichut

​Shlichut is an outreach program that brings shlichim (cultural emissaries) from Israel to live and work in Howard County. The shaliach works with synagogues, preschools, religious schools, youth groups and others to create and promote Israel-related activities in Howard County.
