Through an array of educational, social, and philanthropic programming, our Women’s Division educates, inspires, and connects Jewish women in Howard County.

Women's Philanthropy

Women philanthropists are the change-makers and community-shapers of the world. We are sisters and daughters, mothers and friends, compassionate and committed women at every stage of life and career. Federation's Women’s Philanthropy engages Jewish women in the fulfilling work of making the world a better place and building a better Jewish future. More information.

Challah Bake

Our annual event, as part of the international Shabbat Project, brings together Jewish women and girls to make challah as one community. Find out more information

Red Tent

Come under the Red Tent! The Red Tent Club is a three-part speaker series with topics ranging from food to wellness, culture to religion, all through a Jewish lens. The evening includes light fare dinner.

On second Thursdays of the month, Bookworms volunteers read and then donate a gently used or new book to a first grade class at Stevens Forest Elementary, a Title I school. Bookworms is open to Pomegranate and Lion donors. For more information, contact Sophie.
