PJ Library mails high-quality, Jewish children's books to families every month. We know that something magical happens when parents sit down together to read with their children. PJ Library shares Jewish stories that can help your family talk together about values and traditions that are important to you.

Families raising children from birth through 9 years old with Judaism as part of their lives, are welcome to sign up. PJ Library welcomes all Jewish families, whatever your background, knowledge, family make-up, or observance may be. These books are a gift from the Jewish Federation of Howard County, in partnership with generous local funders and the Harold Grinspoon Foundation.

Since Harold Grinspoon first sent Jewish books to 200 children in Western Massachusetts in 2005, PJ Library has grown to more than 230,000 subscribers throughout the United States and Canada. Today, PJ Library is an expanding global community linked by shared stories and values that spans across five continents and more than 670,000 subscribers. In Howard County, over 600 children receive books from PJ Library!

Sign up today! In addition to receiving fantastic, age-appropriate, Jewish children’s books every month, you’ll be invited to PJ Library programs and events throughout the year.

If your child is 9 to 12 years old, they are eligible to receive their own Jewish chapter book instead through PJ Our Way! Each month, your child can select from 4 age-appropriate titles, and they are delivered directly to your home. Sign-ups for PJ Our Way happen completely online - click below to learn more!
