Shalom Baby
Shalom Baby, an outreach initiative of the Jewish Federation of Howard County, is designed to help Howard County families raising Jewish children celebrate the arrival of their babies through birth or adoption. We’ll get in touch with you to set up a visit to welcome your little one into our Jewish Community. Each family receives a gift bag with a wealth of helpful information, resources, and welcome gifts from area synagogues and generous sponsors from the community.
Shalom Baby will lovingly introduce your new family to the Jewish Federation of Howard County, PJ Library, congregations, preschools, and other organizations. Additionally, Shalom Baby will connect you to families like yours! We’ll be offering meetups, experiences, education, and more.

Shalom Baby relies on the community to spread the word to Jewish families who are expecting a baby, or who have recently experienced the birth or adoption of a new baby, up to age one. Families must reside in Howard County, Maryland.
