Delegate Aaron Kaufman, who represents District 18 in the Maryland General Assembly will be speaking at Beth Shalom Congregation during services and at the Kiddush. Born with cerebral palsy, he has taken his disability (as the only disabled delegate) to lobby and advocate for others.

About the Event
Delegate Aaron Kaufman, who represents District 18 in the Maryland General Assembly will be speaking at Beth Shalom Congregation during services and at the Kiddush. Born with cerebral palsy, he has taken his disability (as the only disabled delegate) to lobby and advocate for others. He serves as the Senior Government Affairs Lobbyist for Jewish Federations of North America, he is the Vice Chair of the Maryland Legislative Jewish Caucus, a member of the House Judiciary Committee. He will speak about JDAIM as well as his story and his work in the Maryland General Assembly. All are welcome. You do not need to be a member of Beth Shalom to join for services and kiddush.
