  • Jewish Emergency Network

On any given day, members of our Howard County Jewish community are facing financial crises. JEN was created in February 2008 by the Jewish Federation of Howard County. In the majority of cases, requests have been for food and for help in paying overdue rent and utility bills. JEN has also helped households pay for essential car repairs and medical expenses not covered by insurance. Find out more about how JEN works

  • Bereavement Support Group

In partnership with Sol Levinson & Bros., Inc, JCS Baltimore, and Gilchrist Hospice Care, the Jewish Federation brings a Bereavement Support Group to the community. For anyone mourning the death of a loved one, this group provides a welcoming place where participants can be with others who are grieving and benefit from the opportunity to talk with a specialist about grief. This year's 8-week series begins September 27, 2017. For more information,
