Alex, Liza, Michael (4), and Emily (2) are proud members of PJ Library in Howard County! Find out more about this special family.
What is your family’s favorite PJ Library selection? Michael received My Jewish Colors when he was a baby and both of our children have loved it over the years. The book is now well worn, but they continue to pick it often to read at bedtime.
Why is PJ Library important in your home? As a military family, our children have always been far from their extended Jewish family. PJ library helps bring Jewish culture and values into our home regardless of where we live.
How has PJ Library influenced your family’s Jewish living and decisions? PJ library books and activities help connect Jewish culture to the things we do in our home every day. The children get so excited when the books arrive and love that they are so relatable.
What is your favorite PJ Library program? Shabbat Tots is our favorite PJ Library program. Our oldest, Michael, participated for 2 years before starting preschool. This is Emily's first year in Shabbat Tots and she loves it! Every week she is so excited to go home and tell Dad about all the things she learned and did with her friends.
What is your bedtime routine with your little ones? We help our children with baths and then change into their pajamas. Both Michael and Emily pick a book and we sit down and read them together as a family. This is always a really special part of our day.
Thank you so much to the Nunez family for sharing their love of PJ Library!
