Our June PJ Library Family of the Month is the Goldgeier Family - Melissa, Michael, Emily (4) and Lillian (7 months). They live in Ellicott City and Emily has attended Shabbat Tots for the past several years. She now attends Bet Yeladim Preschool.
How did you hear about PJ Library?
We heard about PJ Library from friends and family members. We want our children to grow up with a sense of Jewish identity, and we thought PJ Library books would offer a good foundation.
What is your family's favorite PJ Library book?
Our favorite book is How Do Dinosaurs Say Happy Chanukah? We read it all year round and like how it is goofy and fun.
What is your favorite PJ Library program?
Our favorite PJ Library event has been Shabbat Tots. Our older daughter loved making new friends, celebrating Shabbat, and doing the crafts. We are hoping to take our younger daughter when she gets a little older.
Why is PJ Library important in your home?
PJ Library is important in our home because it has sparked discussions about Jewish holidays, traditions, and values. Our older daughter is always so excited when a new book arrives! We also love attending PJ Library events because they are fun and offer a sense of community.
We hope you enjoyed getting to know the Goldgeier Family! If you'd like to be featured as an upcoming Family of the Month, send Allison an email at AWeil@JewishHowardCounty.org.
