The Cooperstein Family

Steve, Cheryl, Caleb (6), Eliana (4), and Asher (2) Cooperstein love PJ Library! They have been receiving books for 6 years, since Caleb was a baby. Read below to find out more about the Coopersteins!

How did you hear about PJ Library?
We saw something posted from The Associated in Baltimore for new parents. We were referred to Howard County to sign up.

How has PJ Library influenced your family’s Jewish living and decisions?
It helps us connect with other Jewish families, especially outside of the preschool community, and it provides fun Jewish activities for the kids.

What is your family’s favorite PJ Library book?
Asher said all of them! Eliana said she loves the moose book (Hanukkah in Alaska). Right now, Caleb likes A Parakeet Named Dreidel.

Why is PJ Library important in your home?
All three kids absolutely love books and they love Judaism, so we like having a good selection of age appropriate books for them. They always go for books on their own, and they seek out the PJ Library books over others quite often.

What is your favorite PJ Library program?
Shabbat Tots. Asher loves knocking the dinosaur on the door.

What is your bedtime routine with your little ones?
We try to read or recite Goodnight Sh'ma. The kids say the Shema and then listen to the Dream With Me CD, which was the first PJ Library music we received. We still use it every night for over 6 years now!
