Helping Houston

"Life as we knew it is gone."

Those were the words of one Houston resident who lost his home of 47 years. For the past eight months, the Houston Jewish community has been working to rebuild from the unprecedented destruction of Hurricane Harvey, but there is still much more to accomplish. Besides for the loss of homes and personal property, the community is struggling to rebuild its community institutions, including local synagogues and the JCC.

At this year's Fed Live! on June 4,  the Jewish Federation of Howard County's Give4Good Auction will feature four ways to help support Jewish communities, both locally and around the world, including the Houston Jewish community. Learn more about the work ahead for Houston in this video.
