There are many ways to stay warm. You can build a fire, turn up the thermostat, or cuddle under a warm blanket. Sometimes warmth is a state of mind, a way you feel about something or the way you relate to others.
During these frigid months of wintry blizzards and freezing temperatures, I like to surround myself with the warmth of community. Whether I gather people to my home to share a Shabbat meal, or attend a community program like the Women of Modern Israel lunch and learn, there’s a warmth that radiates from coming together. I encourage you to do the same, and Federation provides lots of ways to connect with your Jewish community.
Please take a look at the events we have coming up in February and March. There is something to keep everyone warm – whether it’s a program about Israel, Purim Palooza, our PJ Disability Awareness program, or Tots and Tales – please consider Jewish Federation programs when looking to come in out of the cold!
