Temple Isaiah 12200 Scaggsville Road

Sundays At Three will commemorate the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II with a musical celebration of the remarkable achievement of Bronislaw Huberman, a well-known Polish-Jewish violinist and humanitarian. In 1933, he put his career on hold and dedicated himself to creating a first-class symphony orchestra in Palestine. The orchestra would be composed of European Jewish musicians who were beginning to be discriminated against.

The orchestra’s first concert was on December 26, 1936 in Tel Aviv. The Sundays At Three Sinfonia will perform the entire 1936 debut program. This special concert will require an orchestra of 45 professional musicians under the direction of Ronald Mutchnik.
