American Turkish Friendship Association (ATFA) and Rumi Forum of Maryland are looking forward to kick-off this Fall`s first Abrahamic Discussion with "Welcoming the Stranger" through the lens of being an immigrant or a refugee.

Abraham`s Tent initiative aims to provide space for people of different religious and cultural traditions to get-to-know one another and seeks to build community through casual conversation with a reception. We hope this would be an opportunity for continued conversation and action through partnerships with local organizations and offered in a way to build community among one another.

Panelists:
Rabbi Sonya Starr, Columbia Jewish Congregation (CJC)
Pat Jones, Immigration Outreach Service Center (IOSC)
Dr. Qamar-ul Huda, Center for Global Policy (CGP)
