Although much has changed in the status of women in society, a woman is still technically purchased in traditional Jewish wedding ceremonies. If a marriage ends, the woman is a largely passive recipient in the Jewish divorce ceremony. Join Rabbi Grossman to discuss new ways of thinking about Jewish marriage and divorce ceremonies as ways of honoring the social equality of husbands and wives. Refreshments will be served after services. For more information visit or call 410-531-5115.
