There's more to Jewish ethics than "love your neighbor" and "do justice, love mercy..."
In this class we'll explore Jewish teachings on gossip, giving to the poor, honor and obligations to parents, caring for the environment, treatment of animals, and fair treatment of workers and customers. We'll explore the general principles that guide Jewish ethics, and the specifics that arise from those principles. We'll explore our obligations to ourselves, to our neighbors, and to the world at large; to the past and to the future. We'll explore the sacrifices we're asked to make, and the limits beyond which we need not go.
