Sunday, October 14, 2018 — 11:00am
CJCS/Oakland Mills HS, 9410 Kilimanjaro Road, Columbia

Stolpersteines (“stumbling stones”, in German) are an art/memorial installation created by artist Gunter Demnig. Initially installed in Germany, Stolpersteines can now be found throughout Europe, leaving a tangible memorial to the families destroyed by the Nazis. Edith’s talk will focus on her journey to have Stolpersteines installed for her mother’s family in Bonn. There will time after the talk to discuss and answer questions.
