Screening of a movie"Orchestra of Exiles". Story of how violinist Bronislaw Huberman moved Jewish musicians, who in the early 1930's were being fired by Hitler, to Palestine and formed a symphony that would become the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. Huberman saved nearly 1000 Jews, and guaranteed the survival of Europe's musical heritage. Musical prelude with four string musicians playing a selection from the Terezin Suite.
