Join Rabbi Gordon Fuller in a discussion of issues and suggestions around navigating the ins and outs of both home and synagogue/church dynamics when a family shares more than one religious background. No questions are off limits. We will look at holiday rituals, home practices, and personal beliefs as part of the mix.
Rabbi Gordy is currently the Executive Director of The Foundation for Jewish Studies in Rockville and teaches at local congregations. Originally from Detroit, he holds a B.A. in Human Development from Northwestern University and an M.A. in Social Work from the University of Chicago. Rabbi Gordy was ordained in 2004 after a 20-year career in Jewish Education around the country. Before moving to Maryland, he had a pulpit in Waco, TX for 11 years. He is the co-author of a book with his friend and cardiologist, Dr. Joel Roffman, entitled “Coping With Adversity.” and is a committed pluralist and a believer in interfaith relations.
