At 6:00 p.m., bring the little ones to the Shorashim Tot Service
Enjoy a dinner of fried foods at 6:30 p.m. (pre-registration required).
At 7:30 p.m. learn about the history of what we know and what we imagine took place based on stories passed down through the ages when Rabbi Amy Scheinerman discusses Hanukkah: History, Legend, & Mythology: Disentangling the Threads and Weaving Them Back Together.
Parallel activities for our youth.
Then, at 8:00 p.m. during Shabbat services, learn about Unusual Hanukkah Customs from Around the World and Down Through the Centuries with Rabbi Susan Grossman.
There is no charge to attend the Tot Shabbat, Adult Education lecture, youth activities or Service.
