The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum contains many sources of information about survivors and victims of the Holocaust. The Museum’s holdings include camp and ghetto records, books about specific Jewish communities, survivor memoirs, over 100,000 photographs, rare pre-war film footage of Jewish communities, post-war records, some pre-war records and the International Tracing Service, which is the single largest collection of information on Holocaust survivors and victims. Megan Lewis, reference librarian at the Museum, will present a sampling of the rich resources available, instructions on how to access these records, and will provide research tips for more complete results.
