We are told to have wills that determine who will get our things when we die. But do we really want to state that the only things that outlive us are our financial resources? An ancient Jewish tradition is to write a letter to the next generation describing our values, blessings, life’s lessons, hopes and dreams for the future. An ethical will may be one of the most cherished and meaningful gifts you can leave to your family and community. Join Rabbi Starr for this class that introduces the major themes and styles of Jewish ethical wills throughout the ages and provides the tools to write your own ethical will. A bagel & cream cheese brunch sponsored by CJC’s Men’s Club is included.
