1945 (2017) Hungarian with English subtitles, 91 minutes
In the summer of 1945, the arrival of two Orthodox Jews at the train station of a small Hungarian town raises fears that they have come to reclaim their property taken during the war. Their arrival causes stress and fighting among the townspeople. This film ponders the complicity of smaller communities in Europe during WWII.
